I am Forever 21 + Mahogany Closet Mondays Fashion Link Up

Pleated-color-block-Forever-21-skirt, white tank top, blue strappy heels

I so sorry that there was no link up last week. My son ended up having an allergic reaction to what we think was a spider bite and his eye and lip swelled up. He couldn't even see out of his left eye cause it was so swollen. Think Will Smith in the movie Hitch...
Yup something like that. I ended up having to take him to the emergency room and spent all Sunday night into Monday morning there and didn't get to get the post out. :-( So my apologies but we are back this week, yayyyyy!!!

Okay, about the outfit ... I have had this Forever 21 colorblock skirt for what seems like forever (no pun intended) and have never worn it. I found it in an old bag of clothes and remember how cute it was. I decided to just pair it with this simple white tank top and strappy blue heels. The sunglasses I got for $2 from Ebay, the bracelet I got for $1 from this beauty supply in LA that has a huge collection of jewelry for only $1, and the clutch I made thinking about this skirt. I didn't have a blue handbag but I really liked the idea of pairing this skirt with the blue. What do you guys think? This is another super budget friendly outfit. Tank top was $7, skirt $13, clutch about $10 for materials, and the shoes I ended up getting for free. I talk about how on this previous blog post. So I paid less than $35 for this whole outfit!!!

This outfit that Onyinye put together is just altogether fabulous. Loving the plaid skirt and the extra flare that the hat adds.

I am so loving this color combination. As you guys probably know (even from today's outfit) I really love how red and blue and I love how Kash is wearing this. In addition to being a great fashion blogger she is also a Scientist, check this smart lady out.

La Moumous

I am drooling over this blazer that Moumous is wearing. Just a fabulous suit and what you can't see for this picture is that she paired it with a pair of red heels. #LoveIt
