In the past I have featured a couple LBD (Little Black Dress) outfits. You may remember this nude illusion LBD, this one shoulder LBD, this asymmetrical LBD, or this sequin LBD. The little black dress is a wardrobe staple for sure. It's slimming, it goes with everything, perfect for a monotone look or you can add a pop of color. And this dress to me feels like the ultimate LBD. I love the length, the fit, the bardot off the shoulder neckline. It's perfect for any cocktail attire event. You can even pull the shoulder straps up to create a different look. Super clexy, classy and sexy all at the same time. :-)
Makeup: When I first saw this lipstick I thought it was way too dark and that I would hate it on me and never want to wear it. But I have been pleasantly surprised. I really love it. It's not an everyday color for me, but I pull it out whenever I want to vamp up a look and give it a little extra edge. This lipstick is accurately called Vamp It UP. It's one of the Wet N Wild Mega Last Lip Colors. I love these lipsticks. They last, stay on well and only cost about $2. You can often get them online for less and they work, look and feel like they are way more expensive.
Budget outfit details: I got the dress on sale at ASOS.com for $31.50. The clutch I first saw at the Aldo Outlet in Pleasanton, CA and fell in love. Later I went online and found it on sale at Aldo.com for $29 including shipping. The shoes I got from DB shoes for about $25. So the whole outfit was under $100.
