I have been feeling really good about 2016. One of my main
affirmations from 2015 was “My flexibility, freedom,
and ease of time and schedule increase as my income increases” And that
is what has been happening more and more in just this short time 2016 has been around. I
have been having major wins in the area of financial abundance, while also having increases in the flexibility of my work schedule. But then, the
other day I had a conversation with one of my friends from college and we
started catching up and talking about how well other people are doing. How
super successful some of their businesses have become and what beautiful and
amazing houses others had. And I found my feelings of good thoughts and
gratitude started to turn into feelings of lack. Feelings of not feeling
accomplished enough; feeling like I should be farther in my life and career. And
those feelings slowly starting to leak into other areas of my life and I found
myself having just a general feeling of blahhh. But as I acknowledge these
feelings I know this often happens. We start comparing our lives to other people’s
lives and the grass always look greener on the other side. And the reality is all
in all my life is pretty darn good. All of the things I had to feel grateful
for before that conversation are still there. It all a matter of perspective. And
if I spend my time comparing my life to the cliff notes version of somebody
else’s life I am bound to constantly be disappointed. We all have things in our
life to feel grateful for and if we allow ourselves to focus on that not only
will we feel better but we will continue to attract more of those positive
things into our lives. Whew, I know I feel better. What about you? LOL
Okay so now to the outfit. I found this
beautiful dress at one of my favorite store. yup, Ross Dress for Less. This
amazing dress was only $13.99. What a bargain. In addition to the amazing
price, one of the things I love about this dress is the pattern is in the perfect
place to camouflage the lower belly bulge. The shoes I have for a long time. I
am pretty sure I also got them at Ross and they were less than $20 bucks. So I
would definitely say this quality about a beautiful budget friendly outfit.
